Spring Cleaning: 4 products that will save your life

Spring is here and so it’s the need to CLEAN everything.

I don’t know if this because we have all been inside our homes for too long but as soon as March rolls around we all get the itch to spring clean. I love the idea of updating the decor and putting the sweaters away but to be completely honest I hate the cleaning part. It feels like it takes forever and lasts a few days only.

I do love to declutter and throw away everything we are no longer using but that’s about it, the part of deep cleaning and scrubbing, not my forte.

My hubby always ends up doing most of it and I typically help. (Being honest over here, he is the neat freak)

This year, I’ve grown, no joke I’m so close to thirty I can fell it in my bones, which means I have to mature and find a way to do it, and I’m happy to say I actually enjoyed it. So much I will be tackling each room of the house slowly by surely.

I’ll start with the kitchen since we basically live there.

We love our kitchen. A few months ago we celebrated our anniversary and as a gift, we decided to take renovate the kitchen a bit by taking a wall down and now that room is my favorite room. Having that open concept means it needs to be sparklingly clean at all times. That’s why we have teamed up with Walmart and Project And Gamble to show you an easier way to clean.

If you have been following me for a while you know my love for baking. I try to cook and burn almost everything but baking is my biggest passion which leaves my oven looking like a mess 100% of the time and sticky hands on cabinets, so I knew I wanted to tackle these two spots first.

This is probably the dirtiest space in every house. Oven cleaners hardly ever work, aside from filling your home with fumes and very bad chemicals. For our oven I use Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and as much as I bake it only took 5 minutes for me to clean the door. I grabbed a wet Magic Eraser and a dry one and went over a few times. MY oven gets a lot of use which meant it was extra dirty but looks at that difference.. I can’t wait to tackle the grill.

Our cabinets it’s something I clean often. They are dark so everything shows, but using the Magic Eraser with Dawn non-Scratch sponge I was able to get the grease out and clean all the little fingerprints by my lovely assistant. This makes a world a difference. Cabinets will look a 1000 times better

We have white porcelain floors in our kitchen, and keeping them clean is pretty easy with the right products. We use Swiffer Dry and Wet mop and have extremely clean within minutes. You have the option to use their dry pads or wet. No need to buy to products, one for dry floors and one for wet floors. I buy a lot of the extra padding and call it a day and it works both on tile/ ceramic/ porcelain or wood floors.

For all overall cleaning we have always used Bounty, it is strong! I use it to scrub on stains in our countertop, dry accidents and simple the overall kitchen helper

The best thing about all of these products it’s that all of it can be done in minutes by simply placing an online order and getting all of the supplies delivered to your front door. There is no getting the wrong item and having to go back to the store. While you are at it buy some pretty decor too.

I’ve hope you enjoy these hacks and quick kitchen cleaning options and that you are able to do it yourself and refresh your home in minutes.

We would also love to give you the chance to enter a giveaway where one of you would be able to get a gift bag full of P&G products.

The top 3 Baby Shower Gifts

This post is sponsored by Incredibundles. As always all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

I have attended my fair share of baby showers over the years including ours and I have to be honest I love them.I love planning them, decorating and even cooking.

As a girl mom, I want to buy the new mom all the cute clothes and a must item, usually, diapers, as they are always needed, but we all have a preference in the brands we put on our babes.

#baby #cutebaby

After our latest shower, I discovered 3 of the gifts every mom wants and will actually need and use!

Let’s start!

  1. Food. Little did I know how busy life with a newborn and a toddler would be! On top of surviving on little to no sleep. I have received a So Fresh box before and knew they were exactly what we needed when we got home. My husband was able to cook dinner for us in a blink of an eye and he didn’t have to make a trip, or two, to the store to find the ingredients.
  2. Cleaning Services. This is every mom’s dream. Whether you had a natural birth or a c-section you will need your rest and cleaning will no be at the top of your list but still very much needed, especially since most babies have a ton of visitors those first few days!
  3. And last but not least diapers, and more diapers. You can never have enough diapers and will never want to run out. Believe me, I’ve been there and having to go out to get more it’s gut-wrenching.That’s why I have teamed up with Icredibundles. I have worked with them in the past  with a bundle of goodies but now we are talking all about diapers. You can purchase a subscription for diaper and wipes for up to a year. I can guarantee any new mom will appreciate this precious delivery! Never have to go out on the last minute to buy diapers. Ordering online is very fast and easy.

And because we just love you all and want to make your life easier we are giving away 3 months of free diapers... Yes 3 months of diapers for one lucky reader!

Ikea Diaper Changing Cart

“This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and NicePak, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #NicenCleanatHEB

Adding a new baby to a household is a big change and those first few weeks are a blur to most of us. In our case, sissy also came with a repeat C-section which meant moving and doing as little as possible to recuperate.

Hence the idea of this diaper cart. The baby room is upstairs and per doctors recommendations I’ve tried to go upstairs as little as possible, meaning my husband has been restocking it and having it ready for us to use. Last time around we used a playpen that had a little carry bag on the side and it was less than effective. I also thought about getting baskets and setting them in our restroom closet but that would defeat the purpose of having everything close to me.

What I love the most, is I can roll the cart around the house and to either side of the bed. It’s perfect and you can customize it to fit your needs.

What our Cart includes:

1st tier: We put here the items we used the most.

Diapers: Bamboo Nature Diapers are a new addition to our house! We love them and are using them for both Bella and sissy.

Nice’ n Clean Baby Wipes: Another new addition to our household. As a mom with a toddler and a baby, I can never have too many wipes for hands, bottoms and even stinky feet. We use so many daily it’s out of this world and I love that Nice’n Clean wipes are chemical free and come in a very quiet package to avoid waking baby up. As a seasoned mom, I have learned to find the best products for our family. Products that are sensitive and also clean for our environment and I’m happy to say that is not ridiculously priced and can be found at your nearest HEB scented and unscented.

Creams and sanitizer: We tend to not use a lot of lotions on our babies skin but always have the basics, diaper rash cream, a scent free lotion, and a hand sanitizer.

The last item in our top tier is burp clothes. I made these before baby sissy was born and we only store about 4-6 of them in the cart at a time.

2nd Tier: Clothes

This tier is pretty simple. I separated this tier with two baskets, also from Ikea, with Newborn pajamas and pants and tees. I also have a little basket with socks, gloves, and hats. Lastly, a cute little pink baggie from Target with bows, because a girl can never have too many bows.

3rd Tier: Extra Items

On this tier, I have everything extra. That is extra hats, extra Nice’ n Clean wipes, changing pad liner, Halo sheets, and thin blankets.

Like I said above, the best part of this cart is that you can customize it to fit your needs. Anything and everything you may need and if you don’t use it you can pack it differently the next time. Being a mom is not about knowing everything and having everything under control. It’s about doing your best and finding what works for you and your family.

All of these products work for us and fit our family perfectly. Now tell me about your favorite products and how do they fit your life?

If you are interested in trying Nice’ n Clean Wipes head to your local HEB and try them today.

Valentines Day Basket for Him

This post is sponsored by Vanilla Gift Card. As always all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

Valentine’s day is around the corner and for us, it’s a very busy corner indeed. Baby sissy will be here before we know it or even on Valentine’s day if she decides to stay in, which means this mama is prepping all V-day goodies ahead of time including daddy’s Valentine’s day gift.

For the last 6-8 years, I have been doing a gift a day for the hubby starting on the 1st of February until the 14th. Nothing too big but things that make us really appreciate each other. Since our anniversary is today (01/24), Valentine’s day a few days later and my birthday a week later, and just because we like to have fun we added one girly in February and one in March, you know to keep things sweet.

Over the years the gifts have been very simple, but things I know he loves, like his favorite chocolates, gummies, slippers and just anything I know he needs with a sweet note and a corky saying. Gifts don’t have to be expensive it’s all about the sentiment behind them and this year we are making him a basket.

Valentine’s Day Basket for Him;

The key to this basket is finding things your partner loves. In my case my hubby loves sweets.

Chocolate, gummies and everything sweet and of course I included all of those.

Some goodies for his car because let’s be honest most men love their cars.

Toiletries. My husband usually has a little bag with him at work where he has an extra toothbrush, cologne, and toothpaste and I notice that he needed a replacement. If your husband doesn’t keep something like this you can always upgrade his wallet or toiletries for the house.

Talking about the house. We declutter our drawers a few weeks ago and he mentioned he wanted to get some baskets for his watches, contacts, and glasses and I got him just that. Again something he needed and will appreciate it when he sees it. If you want to be extra sweet, organize everything for him!

Lastly, I added a handwritten card and a Vanilla Gift card so he can purchase anything he wants. He’ll most likely spend it all at Home Depot purchasing things for the house.

Most of these can be purchased at one store while your running an errand, but all it matters is that our special guy feels special and we get to show him just how much we love him.

Next week I’ll be sharing a basket for kids and a few last minute items you can add yours.

How do you celebrate Valentine’s day with your partner?

How to Make Toddler Meal time Easier

This post was sponsored by Yummy Spoonfuls as part of an Influencer Activation and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

If you have a toddler you know how difficult meal time is, especially dinner time.

In our house, we have tried everything we no results. Bella refuses to eat anything and everything that doesn’t come in the form of milk. It was acceptable at 1 and a half but now at almost four, I’ve had enough. Some days are worse than others and those worse days are multiplied by the fact that I’m pregnant and now in my third trimester. So how have we solved it?

We haven’t, to be completely honest, but recently we found 3 ways to help us at through this time.

  1. Smoothies. I know it’s not the best option for everyone but I have given it a try a few times and it worked. She had all of it. The only con is not having a full sit down meal with the entire family.
  2. Hide everything in a sauce. Again not helpful in every meal but if I make spaghetti with lots of sauce or soup I can guarantee she’ll eat it. Con, not everything can be hidden in a sauce.
  3. Yummy Spoonfuls. Yummy Spoonfuls is an actual meal containing veggies and all. I love that’s organic and made by 2 moms who just like you and I that wanted better meals for their kids. They even have chicken nuggets which every parent knows is the gateway to any kid. I love reading the ingredients list and knowing everything inside the meals. Bella is getting use to it and slowly but surely getting to love them. She picks the nuggets over anything (Chicken Sweet Potato bites). They have high protein, not that she needs more energy, but it helps her with her muscle development.

Now, tell me what do you make for your kids?
