Thank you Culver’s for sponsoring this post.
How in the world is the end of November already? Did this year fly by for you too?
I think every year goes by faster and faster – and the holiday season…let’s not even talk about that. November and December are gone in the blink of an eye. I don’t know if it has to do with the fact that we live in the generation of busy or what. Maybe our lifestyle just makes it go faster each time, but now that the girls are at such a fun stage, I want to let time stand still. No hope for me, right!
With that, Lester and I decided to make the most of this holiday season and that means enjoying each day with our little family to the most. This means not just living for the weekends. Something most of us do because of work and other responsibilities. So this season we plan to live each day, and who knows, maybe one day this will be our normal.
We made this list, sort of a bucket list for the holidays and it includes all of our favorite things. From simple crafts, to family trips and from making snowflakes, to visiting Santa and Christmas tree farm. Just being together is something that we love very much!
Just this past weekend we visited our local Culver’s and we will definitely add it to our restaurant list. The food was beyond amazing and the Fresh Frozen Custards were on another level. Bella pretty much chugged down her food to be able to eat her Concrete Mixer. It was just what our family needed. Since Culver’s serves a variety of items, everyone found something they wanted and we had a delicious family-friendly meal. It helped us slow down just enough before the holiday rush. We even sat outside as the weather was just perfect and of course took some food home to enjoy that afternoon.
Just look at this burger!!!
And because you know I love a good deal, you can visit your local Culver’s by Dec. 29 to receive a coupon for a free Value Basket when you purchase $30 in gift cards. Go enjoy!
Remember life is about the simple joys.
Enjoying those “simple” moments will make a life of wonder.
Now, what are some family traditions you enjoy during the holidays!
