3 Ways to Love your Furry Friend

Our little guy doesn’t make it on here enough but this post is just for him.

We got Rocco as a Christmas gift for Bella two years ago and he has been such a big part of our family. I will confess I declared myself as “not a dog person” for years until Rocco came around. Like a typical Schnauzer, he is very active, is all over the place and NEEDS 5000 hugs and kisses a day. He sleeps the funniest ways and our girls are pretty much obsessed with him. Bella cannot be without him and Cami is so entertained by everything he does.

So today for our crazy little puppy we are sharing 3 ways to show him our love.

  1. Keep them groomed. I kid you not, Lester loves cutting his hair and bathing him and of course, we love a clean puppy. He runs around and loves all the attention he gets. He also loves himself. He looks in the mirror all the time. We think you are pretty cute too Rocco.
  2. Give them a special place to eat. Since he was little we designated an area of the house just for him. He has his bowls there and a cute little mat that keeps his place clean. Just like us, they love to have their own little space
  3. Lastly, find the food they love. Rocco is a Shcounzer which means we have to be extra careful with his food. Food that’s high in fat does not work for him. We introduced Purina® Beneful® Grain Free with Farm Raised Chicken and he has loved it. It keeps him running and being the playful puppy we know and love. As Hispanics, we sometimes tend to give regular food to our dogs and that is something we do not do with Rocco. We want him healthy and know the best food for his tummy. We can count that every bag of Beneful is made in the USA  by people who are committed to providing our dogs great quality food. Click here to shop our dog food.

We love our puppy and look forward to watch him grow as a healthy puppy. We love that Purina® Beneful® Grain Free with Farm Raised Chicken gives us the opportunity to see our boy grow.

How do you make your puppy feel extra special?

New baby gift basket

This post is sponsored by Carter’s; however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.

When we were pregnant with Cami a few friends were pregnant as well. It has been so nice to share baby pics and horror night stories if you know what I mean.

We’ve teamed up with Carter’s to share our new baby gift basket, which includes a few of the items we love and recommend for all new and seasoned mamas from their new collection Little Baby Basics.

If you haven’t noticed already I’m slightly obsessed with baskets any anything along those lines, especially for us moms. We all know we live mess by mess and baskets help us hide the mess and make it look pretty.

In this case, I bought this cute metal greenhouse which can be used as a bow holder for girls or bow ties for boys.

Here are the items I included:

A 5 piece cute set of baby onesies from their new Little Baby Basics

I love these. I’m usually a pretty neutral gal when it comes to onesies but these are just adorable! I can add a sweet diaper bloomer and be ready for all the summer fun.

A snap front romper from LBB

I have to be 100% honest. I love these. When Bella was a baby she spent all of her days in these. They make for the faster diaper changes ever. On top of being my #1 choice for babies who are often sick. Bella used to get ear infections and having something over her head was the worst!

A Sleeping Sack and Sleeper part of LBB

We have never had one until  Cami, and gosh is it a game changer. Girl, can sleep 3-4 hours straight while in it. I love the fabric and how the zipper unzips from bottom to top allowing for quick, no fuss diaper changes.

A cute romper from LBB

Is there anything sweeter than babies in rompers with all their little rolls? No right!

All of these items are part of Carters Baby Basics line and we love them all. Now tell me what you love of Carter’s Little Baby Basics Line?
